The Art of Book Binding Workshop

In this introductory bookmaking course, students will learn several book structures. Handmade books are perfect for journals, sketch books, scrapbooks, zines, and much more! Making books is meditative, fun, and can be done almost anywhere. Students will go home with several blank books and be inspired to continue making them. No previous experience necessary. Basic Color Theory Class

Ever wonder about how color works in making art? During this 1.5 hour class you will learn the basic principles of Color Theory including complementary, monochromatic, hue and tint and then apply it to a paint project to take home and use as a guide in your next art making adventure! Join us as we screen the film: Point of Origin, a documentary on the life and art of Hugh Campbell. We also welcome Art Smith, educator, mixed media artist, writer, and contributor to the film who will offer greater insight on Campbell’s life and art.
