  1. December Rabies Clinic

    December 17, 2019, 3:00 PM - 4:00 PM @ Animal Shelter

The next free rabies clinic will be held Tuesday, December 17th, from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM. We would advise not arriving any earlier then 2:30 PM as the Vet does not start to administer the vaccine until 3:00 PM. Please bring proof of prior rabies vaccine (tag, certificate, township license, vet records) so the animal may receive a three year booster, without proof of prior vaccine the vaccine will be marked for one year. The line will form in the front of the building outside so please dress accordingly to the weather. For further questions please call the Shelter at (609)265-5073 or email Kelly Donnelly at kdonnelly@co.burlington.nj.us

  1. VISIONS ON THE RANCOCAS: ART SMITH

    November 7, 2019 - January 29, 2020 @ Warden's House Gallery

When Art Smith moved to Mount Holly from Phoenix two years ago, he was immediately attracted to the waters of the creek and to those of the mill race. His first paintings here were of the Rancocas and he has continued to explore this subject with sketches and acrylic paintings. At the same time, Art became interested in the work of Mount Holly painter, Hugh Campbell. Art was inspired by his artistic interpretations of New Jersey landscapes, buildings, but most specifically, the Rancocas. Several of his paintings of the creek have been a visual reference for Art’s paintings. These paintings of the Rancocas Creek are his visual response to the beauty of these waters.
