Freeholder Director Bruce Garganio unveiled a new Youth Services One-Stop Initiative which will lead to the creation of three Youth Drop-in Centers, to be located in Willingboro, Burlington City, and Pemberton.
“With mentoring programs, academic and job training initiatives, access to health and physical sports programs, and much more, we have a real and important opportunity to positively impact the lives of young people throughout our communities. Many of these programs already exist and are currently helping thousands of young people in Burlington County, but as always we can do more and we can do better.” said Freeholder Director Garganio.
Currently, the County secures more than $2.6 million in youth services grant dollars each year, funding over 25 individual programs that serve more than 5,000 young people in Burlington County.
