Wildlife Watch is a monthly nature outing highlighting native species found right here in your County parks! Meet other nature-lovers in a welcoming atmosphere perfect for beginner nature enthusiasts. Together we’ll explore a different location each month to discuss the life history characteristics of select species and their role in our local ecosystems. Led by Senior Park Naturalist, Gina DiMaio.  Audience: adults and children ages 8+. Binoculars are available to borrow. Miles up to 2.5. Difficulty varies by location.  

Heron Observations:Discover incredible nesting behaviors at the great blue heron rookery as seen from the southern end of the park within Dredge Harbor.
