The Weekend Program has been established to allow inmates to work off jail sentences only on the weekends. These inmates are sentenced by the courts and ordered to serve their sentence on weekends under the discretion of the Jail Administrator.
The purpose of this detail is to assist in general cleaning of the facility, whether it is inside or outside. At times the detail will be assigned to perform highway cleanup, clean up details for various county buildings and lots and special programs such as landfill details, etc., which have been requested and approved through by the jail administrator.
