Purpose
4-H Cloverbud clubs provide youth, grades Kindergarten-3, with an introduction to 4-H. The 4-H Cloverbud Program is designed to provide youth with age-appropriate experiential learning activities in a small club setting.
These youth may be registered members of a 4-H Cloverbud club or in a standard club with assigned, registered volunteers trained in the 4-H Cloverbud Philosophy and curriculum.
This program, in the tradition of the Prep Program, will remain non-competitive.
The 4-H Cloverbud Program is a nationally recognized program for younger 4-H members.
Brief History
As of September 1, 2009 the 4-H Prep Program was renamed New Jersey Cloverbud Program.
