Human Resources - Mission Statement
The Department of Human Resources is committed to the effective management of all County business related to personnel transactions, labor relations and employee benefits. This commitment is two-fold. First, the department seeks to meet the needs of all County divisions to recruit and select capable employees, retain, maintain and fairly compensate such employees, and promote consistent performers. Second, the department seeks to assist the job seeking public by matching those with desired or marketable skills sets to employment opportunities within various County divisions.
The Department strives to meet the demands of a sophisticated governmental operations workforce both pragmatically and efficiently. The Department is devoted to maintaining a productive, hard working, diverse and responsible workforce that carries out the County's goals and objectives as established by the Board of Chosen Freeholders.
