  1. Introduction to Printmaking: Linoleum Block Prints

    June 21, 2023, 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM
    Worker's House and Gallery

Block printing is the oldest form of printmaking. It’s a great way to make bold, graphic illustrations that can be repeated. We will be working with linoleum which makes this process an affordable and approachable medium. We will talk about transferring images to your block, carving techniques, and mark making. Students will leave with a small edition of prints which can be used to make book covers or greeting cards, and the skills to work on their own at home. No previous experience required. Instructor: Nicole Eiland
