    Our popular scarecrow contest is back again this year. Friends, neighbors, scout groups, businesses, and local organizations, have a great time and compete against each other to create “the Best Scarecrow Display.” Scarecrows of all varieties, some creepy and all creative, will line Park Avenue in Historic Smithville Park, in Eastampton, NJ for the month of October. Vote for your favorite scarecrow. Winners will be announced at 6:00 PM at this year’s Autumn Lands Festival on October 22nd.

    Help keep our environment clean and green! Participate in cleaning up litter that has made its way into the park. Bags, gloves, and grabbers will be provided. Please bring your own water and snacks, if needed. Masks will be required in the registration and supplies area as well as in areas where social distancing cannot be maintained. Masks will not be provided, please bring your own. If you need community service hours, please register by 4PM the day before the event. To register, email cleancomm@co.burlington.nj.us
