Every other Wednesday, Naturalist Kate will post a new video on our Nature Programs Page that highlights a local species to better understand their behaviors, natural history and/or significance in the environment. This month will focus on skunks, vultures, and spring peepers.

  2. A National Library is Formed

    The Library of Congress was formed in April 1800 and has grown into the world’s largest library. Started by Thomas Jefferson, the Library has survived fires and the loss of its most prized collections to now serve as a museum and research center. Discover the history of this national treasure and its goal to recreate the original Jefferson collection. A Zoom link will be provided upon registration. Register Here.
