Personal feedback is one of the best ways to grow as a writer. Join us as we work through each other’s poems so that we can better understand what is effective and what needs improvement . Eliza Gurney, a Quaker minister from Burlington Township, was against the violence of the Civil War. She took her passion for peace and caring for others all the way to President Lincoln in a series of letters. This presentation will focus on the life of Eliza Gurney and how she came to build a relationship with President Lincoln. The presentation will take place on Zoom. Registration is required.
