Some things just don’t belong. This show will feature a collective of art that shows something unnatural or slightly off. Think of fabricated landscapes, experimental process, science fiction, or even something that just might be not considered “normal”. Slightly unsettling, imaginative works that make you question reality can be seen at this exhibit. Artist Reception: May 16th from 1-3pm.
May 16, 2020, 8:00 AM - May 31, 2020, 7:30 PM
As we all know, right now, we can’t get together and have an organized walk, but we CAN still walk together!
Here is your chance to join the Burlington County Parks Virtual Run/Walk Challenge in a safe environment while social distancing. The challenge is about being healthy, having fun, accomplishing personal goals, and being outside enjoying the parks or a favorite spot, on your time from whatever location you choose.
Starting May 16th through May 31st, we ask that you keep track of your own miles from your walk, run, bike ride or treadmill experience. At the conclusion of this challenge, you submit the total miles that you ran or walked during that time. We’ll total up the miles to see how many miles we logged as a group. Let’s see how far we can go! Submit all miles by email to Hscotto@co.burlington.nj.us. No amount is too little or too much! You set the pace! Let us know if any family members walked with you!
May 28, 2020, 10:00 AM - July 19, 2020, 4:00 PM @ Warden's House Gallery
Jonny Buss, a craftsman, artist and employee of Burlington County Parks, creates abstract compositions through the use of visual digital data corruption, photocopy wheat paste and acrylic stenciling techniques. The aesthetic of his artwork is a commentary about the relationship between data, technology and contemporary society. Abstract Sound installations will accompany the visual art through the duration of the exhibit.
May 28, 2020, 7:00 PM - 8:00 PM @ Pennington Park

May 28, 2020, 7:00 PM - 8:00 PM @ Rancocas Nature Center
The earth isn’t getting any cooler and vehicle charging stations are popping up in unexpected locations, so it’s time to become familiar with the next generation of sustainable energy cars and trucks. Local dealership, Miller Ford in Lumberton, will be at the nature center to showcase the latest in hybrid and electric vehicles. We’ll have a chance to get behind the wheel for a close-up look, learn about the new technologies, and ask questions. Even if you are not ready to “go electric” in 2020, it should be very informing. Register online. There is no charge for this program, but donations are encouraged.
