Jonny Buss, a handyman with the Burlington County Parks, creates abstract compositions through the use of digital data corruption, photocopy wheat paste and acrylic stenciling techniques. The aesthetic of his artwork is a commentary about the relationship between data, technology and contemporary society. Abstract Sound installations will accompany the visual art through the duration of the exhibit. Preview is available on the Burlington County Arts Facebook page.

Experience a virtual guided geology tour of the historic buildings found along Main Street in Mount Holly! Presented by Pierre Lacombe, retired USGS geologist. Pierre will discuss the local rock used to construct the Historic Prison Museum and other early buildings of Mount Holly, as well as the bricks and other local building materials. Learn why there is a Mount in Mount Holly and lots of other interesting geologic facts pertaining to this area. This video will be available on our Programs and Events webpage beginning October 26.

During this virtual series, you will get to sit alongside local plein air painter Michael Anthony as he reveals his process on location in Burlington County. The demonstrations will focus on a specific topic at each location and show you an overview of his procedure. Michael Anthony is a New Jersey born artist from the Burlington County area. Trained as an illustrator at the University of the Arts in Philadelphia, Michael has transitioned to fine artwork, primarily landscapes. While
seeing many artists around the world paint the outwardly beautiful locations in other countries, Michael is attracted to the less noticed local destinations that many of us take for granted.

This class is an outlet for poets who want to meet other writers, and grow through peer review. Attendees will receive
feedback on their poetry, as well as insight into other poets’ works. Personal feedback is one of the best ways to grow as a writer; join us as we work through each other’s poems so that we can better understand what is effective and what needs improvement with our own poetry. Please have three original poems and a pen/pencil. This is an online program.
