    Ever wonder what inmates still linger in their cells at the Historic Prison Museum? Are H.B. and Agnes Smith still enjoying their mansion at Smithville? And what happened to a young member of the Langstaff family that has her still playing at the Lyceum? Just in time for Halloween, hear stories of paranormal activity at three of Burlington County’s historic sites, the Prison Museum, Smithville Mansion, and the Lyceum of History and Natural Sciences. This program will be available online beginning October 23.

Learn about raptor adaptations, behaviors, migration patterns and conservation efforts to bring endangered species back from the brink of extinction. Presented by Park Naturalist Jen Bulava.   2. Invasive Insects Presentation

    Presented by Park Naturalist Jennifer Bulava. In this new PowerPoint presentation, learn about some of the invasive species of insects that have made their way to NJ, how to recognize them, how they got here, and what we can do to help diminish their spread. Spotted lanternfly, emerald ash borer, Japanese beetle, Hemlock wooly adelgid, gypsy moth, and brown marmorated stink bug will be highlighted. This video will be available beginning September 29 on our website. After viewing the video on your own time, join us live on Zoom for Questions and Answers sessions on September 30 at 2:30pm or October 8 at 7:30pm.

    Jonny Buss, a handyman with the Burlington County Parks, creates abstract compositions through the use of digital data corruption, photocopy wheat paste and acrylic stenciling techniques. The aesthetic of his artwork is a commentary about the relationship between data, technology and contemporary society.
