Participants will make a variety of holiday cookies including lemon, gingersnaps, snickerdoodles, jam thumbprints and more! At the end of class everyone will swap cookie varieties so participants can go home with an assortment of holiday cookies for family and friends. Register Online. Burlington County's version of the Christmas Bird Count, a scientific survey of the bird species that over-winter in the County Parks. Participants will identify species by sight and sound at specified locations within each County Park (not for beginner birders). If you would like to contribute your bird identification skills to help the Parks System with the census, please go to our Burlington County Parks website to register. Group size is limited to 10 people each day.

When Art Smith moved to Mount Holly from Phoenix two years ago, he was immediately attracted to the waters of the creek and to those of the mill race. His first paintings here were of the Rancocas and he has continued to explore this subject with sketches and acrylic paintings. At the same time, Art became interested in the work of Mount Holly painter, Hugh Campbell. Art was inspired by his artistic interpretations of New Jersey landscapes, buildings, but most specifically, the Rancocas. Several of his paintings of the creek have been a visual reference for Art’s paintings. These paintings of the Rancocas Creek are his visual response to the beauty of these waters.
