In honor of the 50th anniversary of the Wild and Scenic Rivers Act this year, this presentation is a photographic slide show highlighting 12 National Wild and Scenic Rivers visited by Park Naturalist Jennifer Bulava. Her high-resolution imagery features landscapes, plants, and animals found in selected watersheds from NJ to CA. Details on the Great Egg Harbor, Maurice, and Delaware Rivers of New Jersey include trip planning information. Free. Preregister on the Burlington County Parks registration system. There is no charge for this program, but donations are encouraged.

Local Burlington county residents are featured at the Warden’s House Gallery in a monthly rotation. Please be sure to stop in for each exhibit and experience the unique and diverse array of artistic expression. “For many years, I have made narrative paintings in acrylic, using only black and white paint. In these value studies, I attempt to fuse the personal with the surreal to give visual expression to experiences I have had. Since settling in Mount Holly a year ago, I have explored painting the Rancocas Creek and its tributaries. I have chosen to focus on water, a rare commodity in Arizona, where I have lived most of my life. Experience the many hand crafted ways to work with glass and create art. Macie Art Glass presents: A Journey into Art Glass. As a medium, glass is a diverse material that allows the artist great flexibility in expression. Glass is also still a relatively unexplored frontier for artists. It’s characteristics present hurdles for one’s creative mind, but once understood, glass delivers a vision unlike any other material available to us. With examples of stained glass panels executed in both lead came and copper foil method. Together with mosaics made from glass and kiln formed examples of art glass on display, the gallery is full of works showing the diversity of this amazing material.
