  2. Macie Art Glass Exhibit

    Experience the many hand crafted ways to work with glass and create art. Macie Art Glass presents: A Journey into Art Glass. As a medium, glass is a diverse material that allows the artist great flexibility in expression. Glass is also still a relatively unexplored frontier for artists. It’s characteristics present hurdles for one’s creative mind, but once understood, glass delivers a vision unlike any other material available to us. With examples of stained glass panels executed in both lead came and copper foil method. Together with mosaics made from glass and kiln formed examples of art glass on display, the gallery is full of works showing the diversity of this amazing material.   4. EDWIN B. FORSYTHE NWR Field Trip

    One of the highlights of the NJ shore is Forsythe NWR, a premier location for wildlife viewing. The refuge’s 8-mile loop and multiple upland and wetlands trails offer the beginning and experienced birder/hiker a unique summer trip. Participants will meet in the parking lot of the refuge.
