Local Burlington county residents are featured at the Warden’s House Gallery in a monthly rotation. Please be sure to stop in for each exhibit and experience the unique and diverse array of artistic expression. Artist Statement: “Terrence McCormack is a twenty three year old fine artist and graphic designer. Currently in his Senior year at the Maryland Institute College of Art, Terrence has progressed his practice from classroom cartoon doodles to fine portraiture and abstracted concepts. Working across multi-disciplinary platforms including digital illustrations, collage, etc, he excels in traditional art making practices. Most recent of these mediums have been collage, oil based paints, and graphite.” - Terrence McCormack Gallery Hours: Thursday - Saturday, 10 AM - 4 PM and Sunday, Noon - 4 PM.

This is a new program series offered by Naturalists from Burlington County Parks and the Rancocas Nature Center for students in grades 5 and up. Members will take part in building observational skills while joining naturalists and other birding mentors on fun field trips. An adult must be present with students ages 12 and under for the duration of the program. Adults are welcome and encouraged to attend with students ages 13+. On this trip, (schools are closed for the teacher’s convention) we will visit two very different habitats for waterfowl and other winter migrants. Online registration is required

For the very young, their interactions with the natural world are learning experiences that can translate into art projects. This program is designed for preschoolers ages 3-5 accompanied by a parent or guardian. Each session will include an introduction to a nature theme and an art project. Preregister by calling RNC at 609-261-2495. There is no charge for this program, but participants need to be Rancocas Nature Center members.
It’s a colorful season filled with bright colors. Children will learn about primary and secondary colors and create their own to use in a 2-D design.
