The Workers House Museum & Gallery at Smithville Park presents the Heritage Quilt Collection of the Griffith Morgan House. The Heritage Quilt Project of New Jersey, Inc., (HQPNJ) was organized in 1987 to record quilts made in or brought to New Jersey prior to 1951. Over 2,500 quilts were documented, primarily through a series of 32 Quilt Discovery Days conducted throughout the state from 1988 to 1991. In 2009, complete electronic data for the quilts were added to the Quilt Index at Michigan State University and are available at www.quiltindex.org.
