People in every country around the world will contribute bird observations to the Cornell Lab of Ornithology on this special day. We will first go birding at Crystal Lake Park on foot. Afterwards anyone who has a bike can join us for a bike ride from Crystal Lake to Roebling on the Delaware River Heritage Trail! We will stop to look at birds at key spots along the trail before returning to the Crystal Lake Parking lot. Participants may do all or part of the program. We anticipate about 1.5 miles of hiking on uneven terrain that may include steep portions in Crystal Lake Park. The bike ride would be about 4 miles one way, or 8 miles round trip. Registration required.
Note: participants will need to bring their own bicycles and helmets.
