The Burlington County Advisory Council on Women was formed to address health and social service issues that affect women and families in Burlington County by raising public awareness of their needs. This is done by health education, nontraditional career informational sessions, honoring outstanding women for work in their daily lives, incorporating women's history into the school curriculum, and promoting legislative discussions.
