Recycling is the Law!
All schools must recycle, there are no exceptions.
Recycling at school sets an example of good citizenship.
Recycling at school saves tax dollars by reducing trash disposal costs.
recycling at school helps our environment by reducing the amount of material going to the landfill and reducing the use of natural resources to make new projects.
Most schools in Burlington County participate in the Burlington County Regional Recycling Program and receive free recycling services, provided by the Occupational Training Center.

Use the following fun facts to calculate the environmental benefits of your school's paper recycling efforts:
1 ton (2000 pounds) of recycled paper and cardboard can save:
17 trees
380 gallons of oil
3 cubic yards of landfill space
4000 kilowatts of energy
7000 gallons of water
This represents:
a 64% energy savings
a 58% water savings
60 pounds less of air pollution
