Virtua Community Nursing Services
Provides health education/promotion programs and public health nursing services to Burlington county residents. Services include: prenatal, postpartum and newborn education & home visits to eligible county women and children; well baby clinics for childhood immunizations; lead poisoning prevention & home visiting program; family planning services & community outreach; cancer prevention education & screenings for breast, cervical, colorectal and prostate cancers; communicable disease case management; case management services for special needs children & early intervention service coordination for developmentally delayed infants and toddlers; adult health screenings; and school age and adult immunizations (flu, pneumonia, hepatitis, etc.). All services are provided in cooperation with the Burlington County Health Department.
Health services including; communicable disease control; dental health care; environmental health; pollution control; chronic illness screening; education programs; maternal child health programs; immunizations; substance abuse rehabilitation and prevention services for uninsured and under-insured residents.
