Voting Information
Pursuant to P.L. 2008 Ch. 61, a MEMBER OF THE US MILITARY SERVICE, their dependents, or an OVERSEAS CIVILIAN may now submit their voter registration and mail-in ballot request using the Federal Postcard Application via electronic means (e-mail/fax).
Filled out and signed applications must be scanned and sent to Osballot@co.burlington.nj.us
or faxed to 609-265-5032
The Federal Postcard Application MUST BE RECEIVED in the County Clerk's Office at least four days
prior to the election.

Once the Voter Registration and Ballot Application form is received, the voter will be sent an overseas ballot packet containing:
- A Transmittal (Cover) Sheet from the Local Election Official to the voter.
- A Transmittal (Cover) Sheet from the voter to the Local Election Official.
- A form containing the Waiver of Rights to a "Secret Ballot" and Special Notice
pursuant to N.J.S.A. 19:59-8.
- The appropriate ballot to be voted.
To complete the voting process, the voter must:
- Print out entire overseas ballot packet.
- Vote the ballot received.
- Sign the waiver of rights to a “Secret Ballot.”
- Complete and sign the Transmittal (Cover) sheet from the voter to the Local Election Official.
- Scan the entire overseas ballot packet and send via e-mail to the Burlington County Board of Elections at Osreturn@co.burlington.nj.us
- Fax the entire absentee ballot packet to the Burlington County Board of Elections using the number provided.
