The Department of Corrections provides security and control of all adult offenders detained by law. The safety and welfare of all inmates is the main responsibility of the department.
Facilities include the Burlington County Detention Center (BCDC) in Mount Holly and the Corrections and Work Release Center (CWRC) in Pemberton
