2. Case Description
   The Burlington County Prosecutor’s Office and the Willingboro Township Police Department are conducting a joint investigation involving the shooting death of a Willingboro Township, NJ man. On August 5, 2006 at approximately 10:47PM, the Willingboro Police Department responded to a report of a two (2) car motor vehicle accident that occurred at the intersection of Route 130 and Levitt Parkway in Willingboro, NJ. When police arrived, they found the victim, identified as Drew M. Johnson, age 24, unresponsive in the drivers seat of the vehicle. It was determined that the Victim had been shot and was bleeding from the neck. The Victim was transported to Lourdes Medical Center in Willingboro, NJ where he was pronounced dead.
   
   The investigation has revealed that the Victim and a male passenger were traveling westbound on Levitt Parkway towards Route 130 in Willingboro Township. The Victim was operating a white 1996 Buick LeSabre. As they approached the intersection, the Victim struck a Dodge Lancer that had stopped at the traffic light (intersection of Route 130.) Following the crash, the occupants of the Dodge Lancer got out of their car and walked back to the vehicle which was operated by the Victim. They observed the driver unresponsive and bleeding from the neck.
   
   The investigation has further revealed that prior to the crash, the passenger in the Victim’s vehicle heard glass shattering and saw the Victim slump forward in the car. It is believed that the shooting occurred in the vicinity of Sedgwick Lane and Levitt Drive in Willingboro. The passenger began to steer the vehicle and was attempting to stop the car when it struck the Dodge Lancer that was stopped at the intersection of Route 130. This investigation is on-going.
