Isaiah Franklin, age 24, was taken into custody by the Sheriff’s Department and transported to the Burlington County Detention Center in Mt. Holly on Wednesday, July 20th, 2016.

“To locate this subject our Fugitive Unit gathered intelligence and set up surveillance, ultimately identifying the fugitive walking from his car into a residence in Burlington City. Franklin was placed into custody at the Burlington County Detention Center and is currently awaiting extradition to Virginia.

“This was great work and wonderful inter-agency cooperation,” Stanfield continued. “When law enforcement officials are able to work together, we can make our communities safer for everyone.”

The arrest of Isaiah Franklin marks the third murder suspect apprehended by the Sheriff’s Department in the month of July.

“I am proud that our Department continues to demonstrate its effectiveness and ability to apprehend individuals who pose a potential threat to our communities,” said Sheriff Stanfield.

On July 5th, Sheriff Stanfield’s Fugitive Unit partnered with the USMS to apprehened 21 year old Altauron Jean of Browns Mills for failure to appear for sentencing stemming from a manslaughter conviction.

“A thorough investigation on his whereabouts led to the apprehension of the fugitive without incident at a residence in Willingboro,” Stanfield explained.

On July 8th, 34 year old Quinnizel Clark of Maple Shade was apprehended by the Sheriff’s Fugitive Unit.

“Our Department was able to apprehend Clark for a murder that occurred on January 3, 2016 in Mansfield Township,” said Stanfield. “Our detectives had set up surveillance and observed Clark exiting his residence.
