Join Marisa Bozarth, Museum Curator of History, as we travel back to explore three decades in American history through stories, crafts, music, and other activities. This week we will be exploring the 1970s. Known as the “Me Decade”, the 1970s ushered in Disco, advancements in technology, the first Earth Day celebration, Watergate, and many cultural changes. We will delve into the decade by learning about some of the events that set the 70s apart and shaped our future, listening to era music, sharing a snack, and doing an era appropriate activity.
