An Introduction to Arney's Mount

Join retired USGS geologist Pierre Lacombe on an introductory hike at this brand-new addition to our park system! Arney’s Mount is the highest natural point in Burlington County. The mount is an erosional remnant of the former elevated landscape of our county. Pierre will discuss the geology of this area as well as the quarried conglomerate used to build the Arney’s Mount Meeting House and most other early buildings in the area. Trails include paved and crushed stone surfaces.
