I Am Martin Luther King Jr. by Brad Meltzer
As a child, Martin Luther King, Jr. was shocked by the terrible and unfair treatment of African American people. When he grew up, he decided to do something about it by peacefully gathering people together for nonviolent protests and marches. He spoke about loving others, doing what’s right, and the dream of a kinder future, bravely leading the way toward racial equality in America. Craft supplies needed: white paper, markers, multi-colored construction paper, scissors, glue.
