Pasta Series with Jolynn Deloach from “In My Grandmother’s Kitchen”
Experience an ancient culinary art, make dough from scratch, learn the "feel" of when it's ready to roll, and the "touch" to shape it into an array of styles and shapes. Go beyond the recipe and learn this traditional skill at the elbow of a master. After each class, sample your labors and enjoy a beautiful pasta dinner, and bring home a batch of "home-mades."
Want to take your pasta making skills to the next level? Join us on Wednesday, March 30, at the Stuffed Pasta class. The class starts with a lesson in making fresh ricotta. Everyone makes a sheet of fresh egg pasta, and learns the classic filled pasta shapes including agnolotti, ravioli, and tortellini. We'll finish the evening with a bowl of Pasta in brodo (broth).
