January is National Book Blitz Month!
Did you know that reading can reduce stress? A 2009 study found that reading for just six minutes can reduce stress levels up to 68%. What better way to relax than celebrating Book Blitz Month? Book Blitz Month is nationwide campaign to get people to read more. Start the year off right and pick up a new book and read!
Here are some great ways to celebrate this month:
- Start a book list
- Make a trip to your local library
- Set a goal to read at least once a day
- Go through an entire book series
- Listen to audio books
- Meet an author
Need a jump start to Book Blitz Month? Check out Burlington County Library! All Burlington County residents are eligible for library membership. Those residing in Moorestown, Willingboro and Mount Laurel, who do not pay the dedicated county tax, are eligible for paid membership. Eligible residents may visit any library location to register for a card or apply online at the link HERE
