Lindley G. Cook 4-H Camp

Lindley G. Cook 4-H Camp is conveniently located in the heart of Stokes State Forest in Sussex County, New Jersey. You will enjoy over 100 acres of beautiful forest in the Kittatinny Mt. Range. L.G. Cook 4-H Camp has been running summer camps for over 60 years, and the same classic 1951 camp experience is offered to campers today. This means camp is tech free and focuses on positive social interaction. L.G. Cook is a place where campers can become the best version of themselves by trying new things, building self-confidence, gaining independence and making friendships that last a lifetime. L.G. Cook 4-H Camp staff is the heart of camp, and the counselors work tirelessly to ensure that Camp is a home away from a home for all campers. Summer Camp embodies the philosophies of Head, Heart, Hands and Health and campers learn by doing the 4-H way in a supportive outdoor environment. L.G. Cook is operated by Rutgers University and offers six-day sleep away sessions, July-August, open to all youth ages 8-16.
